2025 Keynote: Elaine McKay

A woman of conviction, purpose and impact, Elaine McKay is an internationally recognized leader in corporate affairs, sustainability, and business and human rights. With more than 25 years of progressive global experience, she has led complex, high-stakes initiatives across continents—from eliminating child labour and advancing labour rights to championing education, HIV/AIDS advocacy and workplace inclusion.
Her work spans both the boardroom and the grassroots, having held influential roles in the private sector—she joined JTI in 2008—as well as with the Nelson Mandela Foundation in South Africa. A dynamic communicator, storyteller and certified coach, she is known for her ability to build trust, navigate crises and spark meaningful dialogue around the world’s most pressing issues.
Whether developing award-winning sustainability programs or leading global employer resource groups dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion, Elaine balances her professional expertise with a deep sense of social purpose. She is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, human dignity and collective action—firm in her belief that eliminating child labour and building a more equitable world is not just possible, but good for business.
We are honoured to welcome this trailblazing leader and lifelong changemaker as our keynote speaker for the 2025 Star Women in Convenience Awards
